Lettering Classes

I love love love Amanda Arneill’s lettering courses ! She breaks the lettering process down into easy to follow steps, gives tons of advice on composition, and you’ll learn multiple styles and best practices for combining and using them. I personally have taken the following courses: Let’s Keep Lettering , The Perfect Piece , and Turn Your Hobby Into a Jobby . All of these courses have been high quality and very informative so I would recommend any of her classes that might float your boat.

Watercolor Classes

Yao Cheng’s Creative Bug watercolor courses are an excellent launchpad for learning all things watercolor. She reviews and recommends supplies and walks you through the basic strokes. Move on to her intermediate watercolor classes to learn about creating bright, beautiful loose florals, full bouquet compositions, and patterns.

Branding Courses

Without a doubt, my go-to brand guru is Fiona Humberstone of The Brand Stylist. I took her online course Colour For Creatives: Level One and it is so much more than just a course on color. I learned a ton about creating a more cohesive brand with my own personal style. I honed in on the colors, typography, and the overall feel I wanted to convey. She uses a genius trick of thinking of your brand as a season to help you hone in on the perfect colors and imagery style for your brand. Also, be sure to check out her books How To Style Your Brand and Brand Brilliance .

iPad Pro Resources

The number one question I get asked is: How did you learn to draw on the iPad Pro? The answer is so simple that I sometimes feel silly responding: I read the Procreate App manual cover-to-cover. That’s it. From there it was just experimenting and daily practice. The follow-up question to that is usually: Where can I get the manual? Here it is: Procreate Manual.
